That's a little phrase I thought of last week, for those readers who
are too young to remember "CD Rations" or "K-Rations."
In today's military parlance that would be MREs... "meals ready to
eat!"

Sensible Y2K Party Planner
On New Years Eve 1999, we are not going anywhere- we are staying home
with family and friends and watching the big odometer in the sky turn over
to all 000s on television. PBS
& BBC are planning a worldwide simulcast of millennium events for 24
hours, and I expect to watch most of it, and tape all of it on my VCR.
In keeping with the idea of a safe and warm holiday season at HOME, we decided that the best gift we can send our friends is a "CARE package" of things that would make a home-based millennium celebration special. We will be ordering Virginia wine and Vermont cheese on the internet and having it shipped directly to our friends around the USA.

Some people are waiting for either the second coming of Jesus or the
first coming of the Messiah. In either case, the location of
his return will probably be Jerusalem...
