Another Interpretation

This image looks very much like a woman to me, in fact, I immediately thought of the Goddess. Another interesting item can be visualized in the darker area to the right It looks like a rock ledge and resting on that rock ledge is what appears to be a human head or skull. In your red shifted image, it also appears as the image of some entity peering over the rock and outwards. Its almost like and elemental spirit.

If you look over the face and head area there is a whitish thing over the head that sort of looks like a space shuttle.

The Goddess has her left arm held upward at about waist high and bent with her hand curling inward toward her body. She is wearing a reddish robe over a whitish beige garment. It appears as though she is looking downward, reading a book or scroll in her lap. the right arm is downward holding the book steady in her lap. It looks as though she is reading and expressing something from what she is reading--like a conductor who is preparing to direct from a musical score.

To me it is like a vision of an angelic Hypatia. A vision of spirit and intellect.
