Subject: What we see - Eagle Nebula

Hi!

I was so EXCITED to find your Web Site about the Hand of God!
My family has been bewildered since first seeing it in 1995 and not
hearing anything about it from the religious community.  We did see
it on CNN once.  We were so AWED that I contacted NASA to get copies    
of the M16.  I have shared the pictures with friends, co-workers        
and family.  Some see different things as you mentioned.        
     



Here is what we see: Jesus sitting on a throne
                     he is holding a lamb on his lap
                     his arm in draped over the lamp and his hand is
                     resting on the open book of life (looks like 
                     a book from the past that has clasps) 
     
It is truly a miracle and God Bless you for putting it out on the Web
for all the world to see!

Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law:

    Greetings and supernal peace in the light of the Reconciliation.

    You had sent e-mail to Me at Babalon@antichrist.net, I believe,
inviting Me to peruse your website, which I did this morning with great
interest.  A few things I count worthy of note:

    (1)    That the image is located in the constellation Sagittarius.
(Two T's and ONE G, by the way).  Sagittarius is the sun-sign of My
birth and is ruled by the planet Jupiter, who of all planetary
archetypes corresponds most closely to the Fatherself of Christ (if you
take Christ to be incarnation of YHVH God) in terms of the aspects
Christ embodies:  generosity, mercy, abundance ("I am come that they
might have life, and have it more abundantly" -- John 10:10)

    (2)    That it is located in the EAGLE nebula.  The eagle basically
symbolizes the same archetypal correspondence as the hawk, as far as I
am aware, and thus could be considered a glyph of Horus, hawk-headed
Egyptian god of silence and strength, who rules the New Aeon, having had
that power & position conferred upon him by Osiris, the
dying-and-resurrected godform, who ruled the previous aeon.  The
eschatological significance of this cannot be effectively treated in one
brief e-mail message, obviously, but of course you are free to
correspond further with Me if you so desire ... (*hint hint*)

    (3)    Did you notice the VERY obvious large, curling, ramlike horns
upon the head of the Figure in the starcloud?  I spotted them when I saw
your blue and red enhancements, but they persist with the original photo
as well.

    (4)    The following verse from a long-forgotten Slick-Kantner song
came to mind when I saw the picture:

        "Enter the caverns of the Starmaker
            Sundance all through you
                Holding together ... "

The caverns of the Starmaker.  Because your page said something about
this being a place where stars were formed, or something like that ...

Thanks for your email about my Starcloud web pages.

There were two emails in my inbox at the same time.  The other one was
the poem above.  Synchronicity at work?

Will write more later.  But first a few words about 
the Eagle nebula and the constellation Sagittarius.  

Sagittarius is our Greco-Roman zodiacal designation for the
constellation closest to the winter solstice on the ecliptic in Epoch
2000.  Coincidentally (there are no true coincidences, really) the
galactic plane crosses the ecliptic there, and the galactic center is in that direction as well.  Thus the nebula is close to the galactic center from our point of view.

The comets Hyakutake and Hale-Bopp (precursors/omens) both came at us
from the direction of the constellation Saggitarius, since this was also 
the location of the conjunction of giant superior planets in the early
1980's (The "Jupiter" effect) and thus perturbed the Oort cloud sending
a bunch of comets falling inward into the solar system in our
direction.  The REALLY BIG "cue ball" that is on its way to destroy
earth is already on a collision path from that direction as well.  It
has not yet been "discovered" by terrestrial telescopes, but it is on
its way. 


In Matthew 24, the quote from Jesus himself is "where the eagles are
gathered, there you will find the body."  The word in Aramaic for
"eagle" also can be translated as vulture, i.e. a raptor, a carnivorous
bird.  The most common interpretation (not astronomical) is that this
was referring to ROME, as the symbol of Rome was the eagle.  But there
are many interpretations- and none are so convincing to me as the
appearance of the "sign of the coming of the son of man" in the Eagle
Nebula.

Hey, came across your page on the Gregorian calendar while looking for
the exact spellings of the Latin month names (e.g. Januarius).  It's a
very informative page, and well-presented, but has a couple of errors:

The story that Augustus "stole" a day from February is widely circulated
but almost certainly apocryphal; it is generally accepted by scholars
that February had 28/29 days and Sextilius 31 even when originally
decreed by Caesar.  The month of Sextilius (not Hexilius, by the way;
"hex" for six is Greek, not Latin) was renamed in Augustus' honor after
he corrected the calendar in 8 BC.  Although Julius had instituted the
calendar with the every-fourth-year-is-a-leap-year rule, the Roman means
of inclusive counting (e.g. the day before the Ides was II Idus, not I
Idus) led to some confusion and in actual practice every *third* year
was made a leap year instead.  In order to correct the error, Augustus
stopped leap years altogether between 9 BC and  8 AD, after which every
fourth year was a leap year as intended.
