What do you see?

Once I could see the face, I increased the contrast to see if I could bring out more detail. To my amazement, I realized that there was much MORE than just a face!

And then I adjusted the hue to BLUE and then to RED to bring out even more details...

Wht does it MEAN?

Since I discovered the image in the Eagle Nebula, I have learned that this phenomenon is called a "Simulacrum." It turns out that people report seeing images of faces and religious icons in clouds, tree trunks, and other random patterns very often.

One possible interpretation- the Biblical view (Book of Revelation).
