UNIV 101: The Drexel Experience

Grading Factors:	Grades are based on class attendance and three required email messages. Students are also required to visit the instructor during his office hours at least once during the term, and they must attend one of the department presentations. Civic Engagement Requirement: five hours of civic engagement to be satisfied sometime during Fall and/or Winter terms

Week 3 (Thur. Oct. 14 4pm or 7pm in the Main Auditorium)	Optional Lecture: HIV/AIDS Awareness & Prevention (Jim Biddle) - No regular class meeting
Week 4 (Thur. Oct 21)	Research in Computer Science - Regular class meeting (Thur. Oct. 13 from 4-5 in Matheson 407) - Overview of CS Department research activities
Week 5 (Mon. Oct 25 12-1 Thur. Oct. 28 @ 4 & 7)	Civic Engagement Presentation (Oct. 25 from 12-1 in CAT 61) - Everyone must attend the Civic Engagement Presentation Sexuality & Communication Lecture by Robin Sawyer (Oct. 28 @ 4 & 7 in Main Auditorium) - This lecture is optional, but students are encouraged to attend
