His passing was grieved by the whole world, Catholic or not. As the Pope approached the Heavenly gates, St. Peter personally greeted him in a firm embrace. "Welcome your holiness, your life-long dedication and selfless serving of your fellow man have earned you great stature in heaven. You may enter our gates without delay and are given free access to all the treasures within. You are also granted open door status with all heavenly leaders including the Father and may, at your own discertion, meet with any of them without prior appointment. Is there anything which your holiness desires?" "Well yes, I have often pondered the mysteries that have confounded theologians through the ages. Is there a library of transcripts in which conversations between God and the prophets of old are recorded? I would love to see what was actually said without the dimming effect of time and clouded memory." St. Peter immediately ushered the Pope to the heavenly archive and explained how to retrieve the various documents. The Pope was thrilled and settled down to review man's relationship with God. Two years later, a scream of anguish pierced the divine library. Immediately several saints and angels rushed over to the Pope and see what caused him such great dismay. They found him pounded a prticular parchment repeatedly with his index finger, shouting, "THERE'S AN 'R'! THERE'S AN 'R'! THERE'S AN 'R'!" The librarian retrieved the parchment and saw that the word causing the Pope's disdain was "celebrate."
