I'll be revising my Killer Decks with the new cards that I have received. So keep a look out for it.....
-------
Sorry if some of you guys that have been looking at my Web Page have
disapointed with my updates.
But as soon as get everything in order updates will be more consistent.
-------
I've been trading cards with Fred Henkle at fredhenk@mail.microserve.net.
So if you're looking for someone honest to trade with, try him.
--------------
I just posted a deck from Luiz Henrique Lima Brochado.
I'll post four new decks in the coming week.
------------
I posted another killer deck for those who have been wanting to look at one.
It's the same time of the year again when school is just about over, at least
for the folks in college. All the studying will be over and fun will reign
supreme for some of us at least. Nows the time for Spellfire to flurish. Hopefully, the number of Spellfire player will not dwindle down and the numbers of players will grow greater than before.
I got some positive news from TSR. They've taken my suggestions about their less than spectacular web page into account and waiting for anymore suggestions that people may have. So everyone mail them and show them you care about Spellfire.
I know some of you guys out there have been waiting for my Spellfire kill deck updates and I'd like to say they'll be up very shortly. Lastly, I'd like to thankeveryone that has visited my page.
everyone who has visited my page.
Hello Everyone!!!
Sorry, I haven't update my Spellfire Page in a while. I've just ended the
semester for the year at Drexel University. Now I'm on my co-op job programming at
Lockheed Martin and I'm trying to sort everthing out. With in the week I
should have more interesting facts for everyone to read. It's finally spring
here on the east coast and everything is looking pretty nice. Hopefully this
will be a strong time for the Spellfire game. Lastly, I'd like to thank
everyone who visited my page.
Reasons to play the game of Spellfire:
1) It's a great 'one on one' or multiplayer game
2) It's fun to see your opponent make excuses for his loss.
3) When playing, you can settle your past differences.
4) Many nasty combinations.
5) The feeling of great joy when your dream hand comes out.
6) The great art work.
7) Being able to play characters from you favorite TSR books.
8) Its the best way to pass the time.
9) To get people hooked on the game like yourself.
10) Winning the game with close to no champions on idle threats and bluffs.
11) Lastly, to get a chance to play in GenCon to prove you have the ultimate
killer deck.
MAINTENANCE:
It's not only important to win the game, but to make sure cards are
still in good enough condition to play in. If you were like me you
played Spellfire because it was great fun and you didn't really give a
damn about how you treated the cards.
Well, here are some ways to maintain your cards.
- Put your cards in boxes. They cost less than a dollar.
- Try to keep your hands dry. I know its hard when your trying to
bluff your way to a win.
- Lastly, and my favorite. Put your cards in "Deck Protector"'s by
Ultra Pro. Its the greatest add-on to your collection. But, I'd
like to point out a few things. You have to generally mix your
cards so that they are generally fush with each other. That means
you can't mix the cards at angles or you may tear appart the plastic.
Next, you have a problem of putting your deck somewhere since they
have swelled up in size(due to the plastic). To solve this problem
all you have to due is buy the box that sells 100 plastic covers. Remove
the plastic covers inside the box and put your deck in. Its a perfect fit.
COMMON MISS UNDERSTANDINGS
When playing Spellfire people tend to forget to read the cards and miss
important facts. Here are some examples.
- Tasselhoff does not move objects from champion to any champion, just to
heroes.
- You can't win with Caer Allison if it is limited wished away or something
like that.
- The original caster cannot dispell Wish if it is Spell Turned back on him.

SPELLFIRE "KILLER" DECKS
JOHN'S DECK OF JOY
This deck is my favorite and can beat just about every other deck. It can win
up to 95% or greater against all other decks. In multiplayer games it can hold
its own and slow down a person that is taking the lead, but in one-on-one this is a
devastating deck. It has the ability to shut down decks and not give the other
person a chance to do anything.

MARC'S KILLER DECK
This deck is from my brother. It's pretty good at attacking average decks, but
against other killer decks(like the first one I have listed here) it tends to
lose more. It has good stopping and attack abilities. As soon as he creates a
listing I'll post it here.
JOE'S COMEBACK DECK
As you can guess, this deck comes back when you least expect it. You think
you're going to win in the end, but somehow this deck comes back and wins. A common
combo that comes out is the Labor of Legend, drop three cards, place a realm
down, and a Caer Alison. This combo lets him put two realms down and rebuild
two. I'm not sure if he has the Avongion, but if has he can rebuild three
realms. When I get his complete listing I'll post it here.
**** TOURNAMENTS ****
Guess what there are none in the area where I live. I know GenCon will be
coming up, but it is too far for me to travel and I am currently in college trying
to graduate with a BS in Computer Science so I can make games. Well if anyone
knows or is holding one in the Philadelphia, PA or South Jersy area, I'd be
more than willing to post it on my web page. I know there are many players
in this area so it would be great to have one. Another thing we could do is
move GenCon to the Philadelphia Convention Center(it's huge), but this would
only happen if enough people supported it. So why don't you write TSR or the
people responsible to for GenCon to move it to Philadelphia and make it more
accessible to more people in this region of the US.
If anyone living in the Philadelphia or South Jersey area would like to hold
a Spellfire tournement, just send me your names. If anyone would like to enter
a Spellfire contest as a contestant, just send me your name as well. Just make
sure when sending me your names to tell me if you would like to enter or hold
the contest.
E-mail me and tell me what you would like me to add or change about my Spellfire page.
