• pcspim_january_2003.zip (local copy of Windows version of the SPIM simulator (January 2003))
• spim_documentation.ps (Documentation for the SPIM simulator)
• spimwin.ps (Documentation for Windows version of the SPIM simulator)
• Altera Quartus II Web Edition Ver. 3.0 (Go to www.altera.com and click on download button on the right top corner. Download  and then obtain a free license for students by clicking on licensing.)
• VHDL Simili 2.3 (Available free from  www.symphonyeda.com. Linux version is available in CS Labs.)
• Erbauer
• V2HDL
• ModelSim
  • ModelSim MXE software (the Xilinx edition). Get the free student edition license.
  • Xilinx WebPack (also free)
