ECEC 355 Computer StructuresGrading Policy: Grading:
Final grades will be determined by your total points weighted according to this distribution. Grades may be curved based on relative student performance. Students who successfully complete all of the homework and do reasonably well on the exams should receive a B. Students with high exams scores and who do well on the assignments will receive an A. The instructor reserves the right to modify the curve to meet minimum competency requirements. Officially, no late assignments will be accepted. Students are expected to do their assignments by themselves. Assignments that are late, but submitted to WebCT will be accepted with a 10% of the value of the assignment per day late penalty. Once WebCT closes, assignments are not accepted as a rule. Emailed assignments will be ignored except with prior instructor permission. Violations of this policy will result in a grade reduction. Assignments and labs will be graded by a group of graders. I shall grade all exams. You should feel free to ask me questions about any assignment, if you do not understand the solution. The university's Academic Honesty policy is in effect for this course. Please read Drexel University Student Handbook found at http://www.drexel.edu/Studentlife/. On the first incident, students who share their work (even with best intentions) will receive a grade of F for the course (the students may not withdraw in this case). The students will be reported to the University Judicial (Honesty) Board. Both the giver and the receiver will receive equal penalty.
