Interdisciplinary teams

An interdisciplinary team is a team involving Computer Science majors and students who major neither in Computer Science nor in Software Engineering. Any interdisciplinary team must contain at least two CS/SE students. Computer science majors may participate in such a team if a CS faculty advisor supervises the software engineering part of the project, and that part of the project is carried out using the CS 491-493 schedule of deliverables. In addition, Computer Science majors may participate in such a team if the team also contains an SE major, and an iSchool faculty advisor supervises the software engineering part of the project, and that part of the project is carried out under the SE senior design course schedule; in that case, the policy for mixed CS-SE teams applies.

If you wish to be part of a COE project that is also possible. However, we require that there are at least two CS students on the team and that in addition to the work done for the project that you submit the CS documentation and do the CS presentations like a traditional CS group.
