Philadelphia and Surrounding Area Attractions

Drexel University is located in the heart of Philadelphia, which is one of the United State's oldest and largest cities. Philadelphia is also the birthplace of the American experiment. The Declaration of Independence and the US Consitution were written here. The city offers opportunities to learn, play, work, and engage in the arts, history, and culture. Philadelphia is close to many interesting Northeast cities (e.g. Washington DC, New York City), as well as the Pocono Mountains, Delaware River Valley and Jersey Shore. Drexel's location also allows quick access to Center City's attractions. Highly accessible public transportation makes exploring the city very easy. Drexel University is directly adjacent to Philadelphia's Amtrak station (30th Street Station).
