"The high level personal information that an individual discloses online can be combined with low level textual fingerprints to de-anonymize the individual and further infer various kinds of information. This is a serious threat to privacy but can be managed by an informed end user." - I am working on my dissertation, Aylin.

I am a PhD Candidate at the Privacy, Security and Automation Lab working with my advisor Dr. Rachel Greenstadt. I spent the summer of 2014 at the United States Army Research Laboratory as a visiting researcher focusing on code stylometry. The research projects I am currently involved in range from privacy analytics for the end user to source code authorship attribution and underground forum analysis. My work would have been inexistent without the help of machine learning and natural language processing.  Doing research on these topics is fun and sometimes challenging.  If you are interested, below you can find some information about my past, publications and several presentations. Feel free to e-mail me with any questions!
