In Class Submission Guidelines

Students registered for the Wednesday Evening class must submit homeworks on paper in class. If you cannot attend class and need to submit homework using another method contact Mark via email.

Online Submission Guidelines

General Information
All assignments (homeworks, quizzes, exams, etc) must be submitted using learning.drexel.edu. Submit each assignment as a single PDF file. You can create the document using any method, but you must submit as a PDF. I recommend using http://www.lyx.org, but you can use any method (Word, OpenOffice, Scanned Documents, etc) as long as you can save as PDF. DO NOT submit files in formats other then PDF.

Homeworks
Deadlines and instructions for Homeworks are listed on the course website. To submit your homework, log into learning.drexel.edu and select CS 525. Click on the homework link on the left side and select the homework you are submitting. Attached a file and select the PDF with homework solutions. After attaching the file, click submit. You may resubmit the assignment an unlimited number of times UNTIL the deadline.
Quizzes
For Evening Students, Quizzes are taken in class or submitted in class for take-home quizzes.
For Online Students, quiz questions are posted to the course website https://www.cs.drexel.edu/~knowak/cs525_winter_2014_o/cs_525_links.htm. Answers must be submitted in learning.drexel.edu to the appropriate assignment as a PDF file.
Midterms/Exams
For Evening Students, Exams/Midterms are taken in class.
For Online Students, Exams/Midterms are taken in learning.drexel.edu.

• Each Test will have its own section in learning.drexel.edu
• Each test is timed, details of the time limits are posted to the main course website.
• Instructions to take a test in learning are as follows:
  1. Submit a "quiz to start the test". This quiz will have a single question. The answer to the question is true. This quiz does not count for anything. Completing the quiz starts the timer for the Test and makes the Test questions visible for download.
  2. After completing the quiz and submitting it, a new assignment will appear in the Test section of learning.drexel.edu. Immediately download the test and begin work. The timer starts as soon as the link becomes visible.
  3. Submit the Exam answers as a PDF within the time limit. The time the test is submit is also recorded.
