10:00 to 10:10: Welcome and introduction.
10:10 to 10:50: Invited talk to be given by Leslie Ashburn-Nardo, Ph.D. Drexel University Vice Provost for Diversity, former Diversity and Inclusion Faculty Fellow, Office of Academic Affairs, IUPUI.
10:50 to 11:00: General discussions with invited speaker.
11:00 to 11:45: Breakout discussions by topic.
11:45 to 12:00: Breakout reporting.

About

MICAR has been organized since 2020. This event is distinguished from others in that it focuses on issues of diverse members at mid-career levels. This year, we will have an invited talk and breakouts.

Specific Objectives:
    To increase awareness of disadvantages faced by minorities at MIDCAR levels. Share actions with potential to neutralize said disadvantages. Strengthen the ties between underrepresented AAAI members at the mid-career level.
Target Audience:
    AAAI members from academia and industry at mid- and senior career levels. Senior members are asked to share their experiences and strategies.
